When is the IAHTI 15th Annual Conference?
The conference will be held Tuesday, September 1 through Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
How do I register?
- Registration: $649

- Attendees are required to register with the same email address that they use in the conference application. If the two email addresses are different, the attendee will not have access to the conference application.
- If attendee(s) are registered by someone other than the attendee, please use the attendee’s name and email address. If you need a receipt for the registration and would like acknowledgement that the person has been registered, simply add your name and email address in the questions or comments section of the registration form and you will receive notification as well as the attendee.
Registration includes:
- Access to three full days (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) of training content featuring sessions across multiple tracks, including main stage (plenary sessions), breakout sessions, investigative labs, technology demonstrations, and Interactive crime scene training.
- Access to the Exhibitor Hall throughout conference hours
- Admission to the venue sponsored networking reception on September 1, 2026
- Session materials, digital resources, and speaker handouts via the conference app
- Ability to pre-RSVP/select breakout sessions through the app
- Access to the conference application (including networking, agenda, key location addresses, etc.)
- (1) $50 food credit that can be used at any of the 8+ onsite food options at the Tradewinds Resort for lunches.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
- Full Refund: Cancellations made up to three weeks before the event (by Tuesday, August 11, 2026) are eligible for a full refund, including name/attendee changes.
- Name/Attendee Changes: After August 21, changes will incur a $20 processing fee. Name tags will be printed on August 21, 2026.
- Within Two Weeks of Event: Cancellations are non-refundable, but your payment can be applied toward a 2027 IAHTI conference.
Who needs a sponsorship letter to attend?
Attendees who are not law enforcement officers, analysts, or prosecutors must submit a sponsorship letter from a recognized law enforcement agency or prosecutor’s office.
The letter must:
- Confirm the applicant’s active role in supporting human trafficking investigations or victim services
- Endorse attendance at the IAHTI Conference
- Demonstrate an active working relationship with the sponsoring agency

What should I know about conference logistics?
- The opening and first two sessions on September 1st from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM will be held in the Pavilion (All Attendees)
- The closing sessions on September 3rd from 2:45 PM until 5:00 PM will be held in the Pavilion (All Attendees)
- Most of the LEO and Analyst sessions will be held in the Pavilion (exceptions are breakout sessions and labs)
- Most of the NGO and Prosecutor sessions will be held at Island Grand (in the ballrooms and breakout rooms)
- Maps of the venue and class selections will be available in the conference app.
- Shuttle service is provided by the venue on a first come first serve basis between the RumFish Beach, Island Grand, and Pavilion during conference hours.
- Conference check-in information will be in the conference app.
- Badges must be worn at all times to enter sessions.
- Hydration stations will be inside session rooms.
- Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.
- Lunch service offered across 8+ dining locations on the property. Dietary restriction-friendly options are available.
- The conference application will be made available to attendees one month prior to the event.
- Pre-conference communications will be sent via the conference app and registration email; please use a work-related email to ensure delivery.

Attire
Attendees are welcome to dress in business casual attire or attire required by their agency or organization. We politely ask that no bathing suits are worn into the conference rooms.
Invoice Requests
If your agency requires an invoice, please submit your request through our online invoice form at https://www.iahti.org/conferences/request-an-invoice/
Invoices must be paid in full before conference check-in. Purchase orders are accepted from approved agencies; however, name badges will not be released until payment is received. If your agency requires a W-9 or vendor setup form, please note that on your invoice request form.
Sponsorship and Exhibitor Requests
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or exhibitor, please contact conferences@iahti.org to request the current sponsor/exhibitor packet and availability. Exhibitor participation is limited and subject to approval and space availability.
Exhibitor Hall and Vendor Questions
Exhibitor setup instructions, shipping information, booth sizes, and operating hours will be provided to confirmed exhibitors after vendor approval. All exhibit hall questions should be directed to conferences@iahti.org. IAHTI reserves the right to decline vendors that do not align with investigative support or the mission of IAHTI training.
Speaker and Presenter Requests
Speaker applications must be submitted through the speaker application form located at: https://www.iahti.org/conferences/presenter-application/
Speaker submissions are reviewed based on topic relevance, investigative experience, instructional value, and international applicability. IAHTI welcomes submissions from subject matter experts, however honorariums / registration / travel support cannot be guaranteed for all speakers. The speaker form allows applicants to indicate their level of support need (for example: already attending and do not need travel / need registration support / agency covers travel but not registration / interested in honorarium consideration).
Applications will be reviewed, and decisions will be finalized during the first quarter of 2026.
Payment Types Accepted
Payments are accepted by credit card, check, purchase order, money order, or ACH. Credit card payments are processed through PayPal credit card processing; however, a PayPal account is not required. Attendees can simply enter a card number during checkout without logging in to PayPal.
Networking Opportunities
Registered attendees can use the IAHTI conference app to access agendas, session RSVPs, exhibitor listings, speaker bios, message networking tools, and attendee-to-attendee communication. Virtual networking options are also available in the app before, during, and after the live event.
Early registration networking event will be held on August 31.
Welcome networking event will be held on September 1.
The app also provides tools to connect with peers, book vendor meetings, and schedule custom meetups.
Course Certificates
Certificates of completion will be emailed to attendees within 14 days of the completion of the conference, pending verification of attendance. All attendees must register with IAHTI staff!
Registration Transfers
If a registered attendee cannot attend, the registration may be transferred to another individual. Transfers must follow the published change deadlines listed on the main registration page.
Continuing Education Credit
IAHTI does not guarantee automatic CLE or CJE accreditation. Attendees may submit session details to their agency or licensing authority for credit consideration as allowed by their jurisdiction.
